No cookies of ours

Solstice sets no cookies at all — none for analytics, none for advertising, none for preferences. There is no measurement on this site and no third-party script that could set one. Ordinary requests to bysolstice.com come back with no Set-Cookie header; the one exception is Cloudflare’s security layer, described below.

Under the ePrivacy rules, consent is required for storage that is not strictly necessary. We ask for none because we store nothing that would need it.

Local storage, which is not a cookie

Two values are kept in your browser’s local storage so the site remembers the vehicle and the trip you last entered. They are set only once you use those controls, they never leave your device, and no request carries them. Clearing site data removes them. They are described in full on the privacy page.

Cloudflare

The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Where its bot-management layer challenges a request, Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary cookie such as __cf_bm. It is a security function, it carries no advertising identifier, and it is not used to profile you; we do not read it and it is not ours. We have not observed one on a normal page request.

If this changes

Adding anything that sets a non-essential cookie means adding a consent mechanism before it ships, not after. This page and the privacy page would change first.
